Prepare to slip into a world of third person narration as more characters come in and the plot thickens'
With much effort, Daisuke slowly opened his heavy eyelids as rays of supremely
bright sunlight flowed onto them. He shielded his eyes from it and
slowly sat up on the couch. After a long, satisfying yawn, he rubbed
his eyes and looked around to see Hiroshi still fast asleep, but now on
the floor. He must have fallen off the couch during the night, Daisuke
concluded and could see that he had also kicked the blankets to the other
side of the room. He thought that looked pretty funny and stood up,
stretched and made his way to the bathroom. He grabbed a towel and
went to take a shower.
Meanwhile, Yoshiko had spent the night in Daisuke's bed after he insisted
that she do so. She also slowly opened her eyes and was at first
a little disoriented. She laid flat on her back and looked around
at the unfamiliar ceiling and then at the room which she was inside of.
Daisuke's room was about normal size for any teenage guy with a desk right
beside his bed and lots of posters on the wall of his favorite rock stars,
but they all looked very unfamiliar to her. He had a big stereo with
tons of CDs set beside it and, when she looked over by his dresser, she
saw several trophies and awards claiming their fair share of space.
Finally, she sat up and got out of his bed. A little hesitantly,
she approached the door and stepped out of the room. She didn't want
to disturb Daisuke or Hiroshi if they were still asleep'she didn't know
that Daisuke was already awake.
She slowly and quietly made her way out into the living room to see if
they were out there, but when she got there, she only saw Hiroshi resting
very peacefully, by the looks of it. When she saw him, she couldn't
help but have a smile escape her lips. She was a little discouraged
to not see Daisuke though, so she left the living room. As she did
this, she decided that she wanted to fix herself up a bit and change her
clothes and such, so she came upon the bathroom and walked inside.
In there, she heard a soft spray sound and was enveloped in a warm calming
mist. Soothed by the environment, she walked over to the counter
and found her school uniform folded very neatly. It was finally fully
dry and Yoshiko decided to change back into it. She took the yukata
off and slid into her uniform. She looked into the mirror and undid
her long shimmering hair from the cascading braid it had been in.
Gently, she ran her elegant fingers through it and combed it out with a
comb sitting on the sideboard.
A little after that, Yoshiko heard the spray sound stop, so she curiously
looked in the direction from where it was coming from to try to figure
out why. Then, she heard a whistling sound and saw a patterned glass
door slowly begin to open. Her eyes were drawn to it. After
the door was opened a crack, she was able to see a foggy image shrouded
in it, which she discovered to be' Daisuke! Very happy to see him,
she smiled and flung her hair over her shoulder. 'Daisuke-san!
Good morning!' She called to him.
'Huh?' Daisuke immediately looked up to see the foggy image of Yoshiko
waving happily at him. He gasped and slammed the door shut, an embarrassed
blush forming on his face.
'Oh my,' Yoshiko brought a hand to her face, 'I'm sorry, I didn't realize
anyone else was in here, Daisuke-san' But don't worry, I wasn't able to
see you at all.'
'Y-Y-Yoshiko!' Daisuke's heart pounded from embarrassment, 'Well, that's
ok, just please knock next time you want to come into the bathroom when
the door's closed!'
'Alright, I'm sorry again. I really didn't realize you were in here'
I'll go see if Shiozawa-san is up yet,' she called to him as she left.
'Ok' Daisuke sighed. He wondered how she could have thought she
was alone in the bathroom when the shower was running! A bit disenchanted,
he attempted once again to get out of the shower.
Yoshiko ran back into the living room and saw that Hiroshi was still fast
asleep. Discouraged by that, she walked over to the couch and slumped
down right on top of the blanket Daisuke used to sleep with. She
set her elbows on her knees and rested her face in her hands and stared
down at him, wishing he was awake so she'd at least have some company.
Then, she saw Hiroshi turn on his back so she looked harder, thinking maybe
he was waking up. 'My' princess' he said in a low, quiet voice.
'Princess?' she asked, a little confused about what he was babbling.
'Please' stay with me forever' he said a little while later. Yoshiko
could tell that he was dreaming. She had already gotten the impression
that he loved women, so she didn't think anything of it.
Just then, she heard the bathroom door open, so she turned to see Daisuke
entering the living room. She smiled when she saw him. 'Hello,'
she said kindly.
'H-hi.' He blushed a little.
Yoshiko could tell he was a little uncomfortable from that event, so she
stood up and bowed to him. 'I'm sorry. I really didn't realize
that you didn't want me to be in there with you. Please forgive me.'
That surprised Daisuke. 'Oh, uh, that's ok. Just don't do it
again, heh heh' She looked up at him and nodded. 'So, uh' we gotta
get moving here if we want to be on time. I'll go start some breakfast,
and why don't you see if you can wake up that drooling mound over there?'
Yoshiko laughed when he said that and went over to Hiroshi as Daisuke went
to go start breakfast.
She knelt beside him and shook him a few times. 'Shiozawa-san, time
to wake up,' she said in his ear.
'I don't wanna go to school, mommy,' he whimpered, tightly gripping his
pillow.
'This is Yoshiko, not mommy. Please get up now,' she coaxed gently.
Hiroshi yawned and slowly opened his eyes and turned to see Yoshiko smiling
down at him. Immediately, he shot up and grasped her hands.
'Y-Yoshiko-chan!! You really were with me all night, it wasn't just
a wonderful dream!' He exclaimed. Yoshiko just stared at him and
didn't know what to do, so she did nothing. 'I can't believe it'
All my life I've waited and worked towards this moment, and now, finally,
it's happened!' He was floating into another world.
'Um, excuse me, but, what's happened?' she had no idea what he was talking
about
'Oh, my dear, it must have been so exhilarating that you can't even remember,
but don't worry,' he came up close to her and wrapped his arms around her,
'there'll be plenty more times for use to express love.'
'Yoshiko! What would you like to eat?' Daisuke asked, walking out
of the kitchen. As soon as he saw the situation, a sickened look
formed on his face. 'Ahem!' Yoshiko looked back and made it
out of Hiroshi's grasp.
'Oh, whatever you make will be fine with me,' she answered back to him,
but he didn't hear her. All his attention was placed on Hiroshi and
how badly he wanted to strangle him.
He cleared his throat again and turned his head to the side, not at all
looking pleased. 'I'm sorry, what did you say?'
'I said whatever you make will be fine. Right, Shiozawa-san?' she
asked Hiroshi, who nodded and bobbed around like a little kid. Daisuke
sighed and went into the kitchen again, but Yoshiko and Hiroshi followed
him too.
'Hey, man, you know, you really don't have to make breakfast. We
could go out to eat,' Hiroshi suggested.
Daisuke's ears perked up. 'Yeah right, like we have time for that
before school. Go get ready. Breakfast should be done by the
time you're-'
'Dude!' he interrupted. 'What are you talking about, man? We
don't have school today, all thanks to you two.'
Daisuke and Yoshiko looked at him with shocked expressions. 'What?'
They asked at once, not believing their ears.
'That's right. It's all because of what happened yesterday.
The school board went crazy and, you probably didn't know this, but it
was all over the news and parents were getting all worried and stuff, so
they called in and begged for answers. There's supposedly gonna be
some big meeting tonight with parents and the school board who's gonna
try to convince the parents the school's really safe.' Yoshiko and
Daisuke's jaws nearly hit the floor. Hiroshi couldn't help but laugh
at the reaction they gave to the news. 'Don't worry, though!
Everything should be back to normal soon, but for now, you guys are heroes!'
'H-heroes?' Daisuke asked, uncertainty in his voice.
'Sure, man! You cancelled school for one whole day! Hundreds
of kids are very thankful for that!'
Daisuke paused a while to think about all that and he and Yoshiko looked
at each other, a smile finally to break on their lips. 'Wow.
I guess since you put it that way'
'It really is great for us,' Yoshiko finished.
'Uh-huh, you better believe it, my dear. But anyway, so that means
that I was right when I said we could go out to eat for breakfast.
What d'ya say?!'
'Well, I don't know' Daisuke said, looking at Yoshiko.
'Aw, come on! Please, please, please, please?!' He whined.
Daisuke sighed. 'Oh, alright. Yoshiko does need a few things
anyway, so...' Yoshiko smiled at him from the mention of her name, which
just about melted Daisuke's heart whenever he saw it, 'heck, let's go to
the mall!' he exclaimed.
'Alright!!' Hiroshi yelled. Yoshiko giggled and then smiled
at Daisuke, who smiled back to her. Daisuke changed out of his school
uniform and into some comfortable shorts and a T-shirt and got the money
his dad left for him, which was an incredible amount. After everyone
got all ready, they all left to go catch the subway to go into the shopping
district of Tokyo.
*
Finally, they made it to the mall and were all extremely happy to be able
to have a little fun with each other. Yoshiko was totally blown away
by everything she saw, all the shops, the people, everything! It
was almost as if she'd never seen anything like it before. Daisuke,
who was walking right beside her (and enjoying that very much) noticed
this. 'This, Yoshiko, is our mall. You can do almost anything
here, but stay close, you don't want to get lost.' Yoshiko looked
at him and gently grabbed hold of his hand. He was not expecting
that and it made his pulse raise a little, but it felt wonderful to hold
her hand. It made him feel calm and remarkable inside like everyone
time with her had.
'Man, I'm starved. Where the heck is the food court?' Hiroshi complained.
'It's right up there,' Daisuke answered him and then looked back at Yoshiko.
'Let's eat first, and then we'll look for some stuff for you, ok?'
She nodded as they entered the food court.
They found a table by a palm tree under an umbrella and sat down, but Hiroshi
had other things on his one-track mind. Right near their table was
one with four extremely beautiful young women. Of course, Hiroshi
headed over there first. Smoothly running a comb through his hair,
he came right by their table and they all kept talking and giggling with
each other, like they didn't even notice him there. Hiroshi cleared
his throat to try and get their attention, but it didn't work too well.
'Hello, my beauties,' he started out, the girls all looked up at him.
'How would you like to get together with me sometime? I'm sure we
could have lots of fun together.'
'Whatever,' one of them started, 'what kind of fun do you have in mind?
Playing blocks with mommy?' The girls all laughed.
Hiroshi just ignored that comment. 'Well, actually, I had something
a little more grown up in mind. Come with me and I'll tell you all
about it.'
The girls stood up and gave him sour looks. 'Like, sorry dude, but
we're not interested in perverts and their ideas of a good time, so just
bug off!' another said.
'But' but' no, that's not fair!' Hiroshi pleaded with them.
His desperation was kicking in rather quickly, usually he stands up for
himself more than that.
'Look, we said leave us alone!' Another girl said.
'Aw, come on girls, I've waited long enough, I think I'll go insane if
I go one more day as a virgin!'
'HENTAI!!!!!!' They all screamed.
'Yuck! I said go away!' all the girls then threw their milk shakes
on to him, soaking him with a mixture of chocolate, mocha, and strawberry
flavors. They then stormed off the other way while griping about
what a perverted slime ball he was.
He just stood there for a second and then reached into his pocket and pulled
out his Special Little Notebook and opened it up, milk shake dripping off
of him. 'Hmm' now that was a learning experience. Note to self:
never sweet talk girls with milk shakes or anything related to milk shakes,
or anything that could inflict serious pain,' he said aloud as he wrote.
He sighed disappointedly, 'Oh well, I'll get my brake sometime,' he said
and grabbed a few napkins and headed back to the table Daisuke and Yoshiko
were at. As he approached them, they were laughing and talking with
each other and then Yoshiko saw Hiroshi and gasped. Confused, Daisuke
turned his head in her direction and saw a very surprising sight.
'H-Hiro' what the heck happened to you?' he asked, restraining himself
as hard as he could from laughing.
He shook his head and sat down and took off his glasses to wipe the little
drips of remaining milk shake from them. 'Let's just say some girls
don't know a good thing when they see one.'
'Are you alright?' Yoshiko asked, deeply concerned.
'Uh' actually,' he began, clearing his throat and forming a little grin
on his face, 'I'd feel much better if you'd give me a little kiss.'
Daisuke, who had been drinking some soda, choked and coughed when he heard
that.
'Oh' really' she looked away, blushing. Hiroshi nodded and held
her hands, coming in closely to her. Daisuke was dying, but he couldn't
do anything about it because he was trying to relieve himself from choking
on his soda. Hiroshi smiled gingerly at innocent Yoshiko, and she
blushed more and glanced back to him.
'That's right,' he whispered, 'think of this as repayment for what Dai
has done for you'
'No!' Daisuke finally yelled, throwing himself right in the middle of them.
That made kind of a scene as nearby people stared for a couple seconds.
Hiroshi couldn't believe what he had just done! Daisuke had ruined
his biggest hopes and dreams with Yoshiko and himself by just ending that
kiss!
'What the heck did you do that for?!' he demanded.
Daisuke glared over at him, but before he could answer, Yoshiko's sweet
voice piped up. 'What do you say about getting some food before anything
else happens?' she suggested, trying to stop a brawl before one had the
chance of starting. The guys turned to her, a little surprised to
hear her say that, but then agreed. Daisuke was still peeved at Hiroshi,
the mastermind hentai, but he knew he couldn't help it. It's just
his nature to be that way. Anyway, he really didn't feel much like
starting a big argument or anything, so Daisuke, being the perfect little
angel he is, just dropped the whole thing and forgot about it. (Aw!
What a guy!) Hiroshi just thought he wussed out in competition with
his 'supreme intellect.' Talk about delusions... 'Well then,
I guess now we have to decide on what everyone wants to eat,' Yoshiko pointed
out.
'Yeah. You're right,' Daisuke replied, pulling out some money from
his wallet.
'Hmmm' I got it!' Hiroshi said loudly, grabbing some of the money
as soon as it was revealed to him.
'Uh, got what?' Daisuke asked, not sure he really wanted to know.
'Yoshiko-chan and I will go get food for all of us, and why don't you see
about finding us all some' uh' slurpees or something?'
'Slurpees?' He asked, advancing a weird look onto him.
'Sure! You know, those drinks, they're kind of like snow cones, but
without the cone-'
'I know what slurpees are,' he interrupted him. 'Are you sure about
this plan of yours?'
'Of course. Yoshiko-chan is going to need some guidance in a place
as huge as this. So, shall we?' he turned and asked Yoshiko.
She smiled and the two began disappearing into the crowd, but just before
that, Daisuke saw him wrap his arm around her shoulder and hold his other
hand up with a huge wad of money in it and he faintly heard him yell, 'Thanks
for the dough, man!'
He just stood there and stared for a minute, a little vexed by that whole
little experience. Finally, he felt his fist begin to tighten and
his eyebrows narrow. That punk! he thought. What
the heck does he think he's doing? Doesn't what we talked about yesterday
mean squat to him?!! He clenched his teeth and wished he was
the one helping Yoshiko, but in reality he was only buying a few crummy
slurpees, not to diss slurpees or anything, but wouldn't you feel the same
in a situation like this? He was so mad at Hiroshi for doing that
that he couldn't think of anything else, until nature called him, so he
threw his wallet back into his pocket and drug himself to the men's room.
Along the way, he caught himself mumbling a few choice words and phrases
which caused nearby grandmothers to glare with exasperation.
Once at the men's room, he was so ticked that he kicked the door open.
'You're not supposed to be doing that!!!' He yelled aloud, obviously
talking about Hiroshi, but there was a little kid at one of the urinals
who thought he was talking to him, so he quickly zipped out of there.
'Sorry, sir!' He squealed as he ran by him.
'Huh? N-no! Kid, wait, not you!' he tried yelling back, but
the kid was already long gone. 'Aw man!' He said, feeling pretty
rotten about that. He walked more into the bathroom toward a urinal.
'Well, at least I get the whole place to myself,' he said, observing that
he was the only one in there. He began to' yeah' and continued to
think about his anger with Hiroshi.
'He sucks so much!' He said, gearing the attention of another being
in the room'one he had no idea about since he thought he was alone.
'I can't believe he'd do something like that! I knew he was heartless,
but I never thought he was this heartless!' He continued complaining,
which only made her curious, so she stepped out from behind one of the
stalls and smoothly came over to him. Daisuke had his eyes clenched
shut with anger, but the girl who had just appeared in the men's room could
see him perfectly. 'Man, I'm just so mad at that little punk!
After all we talked about yesterday! How come he thinks he can always
get away with things like this? Doesn't the world care about morals
and ethics?'
'I totally agree with you,' the unseen girl said as she continued to stare
at him, thinking he was the most gorgeous thing she'd ever seen.
'Thank you! Glad to hear someone agrees. Perhaps, someday,
the entire world will agree too, and-' he finally stopped jabbering, remembering
that when he had entered the bathroom, he was alone'or so he thought.
Confused, he turned his head to the side and looked straight into the bright
blue eyes of the girl who, for some reason, was in the men's room.
He froze, too embarrassed and petrified to move. The girl smiled
at him and waved her hand. 'Hi!'
'Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!' His yell echoed throughout the mall and he quickly
zipped his pants up and ran backwards strait into a stall. The door
swung shut and he was flat up against the wall, nearly hyperventilating.
The girl just stared and wondered what had happened. 'Was it something
I said?' she blinked, confused by his reaction.
In
the meantime, Hiroshi and Yoshiko were working on getting all the food.
He led the way and Yoshiko followed, carrying what they had gotten from
each restaurant. They had already been to quite a few places in the food
court. 'Come on, Yoshiko-chan! Just a few more places to go!'
Yoshiko found an empty counter and piled all the foodstuffs on top of it.
'Uh, Shiozawa-san, are you sure we need all this food?' She observed
trays and bags from many different restaurants.
'Sure! We've got cash to burn, so why not? Don't worry about it.
It's fine, really.'
'But...'
'Listen, if anything, we'll use it for lunch and dinner too. It'll
be great, like eating out all over again!'
'I don't think Daisuke-san will like this too much.'
'Oh, forget slurpee-boy. He won't care a bit. If I know Dai,
right now he's done buying the slurpees and is probably off buying a present
for you.'
That surprised Yoshiko. 'Really?'
'Sure. Trust me, now let's get going!' he said, full of energy.
Yoshiko sighed and piled all the stuff together again and followed Hiroshi
on to more restaurants.
*
Eventually, Daisuke calmed down a bit. 'Ok, so I was peeing, and
talking about how much I want to kill Hiroshi, and then I hear this weird
voice, so I look and see this girl with who just appeared out of nowhere
smiling back at me and acting as if it was totally normal to be in the
men's room' he paused, 'This is a seriously weird way to start my morning!
I wonder if she's still out there' He sighed and took in a deep, calming
breath and slowly opened the stall door. Cautiously, he poked his
head out. He slowly surveyed the room to see that he was the only one in
there. Totally relieved, he popped out of the stall and fell back
against its door. She's gone now. That was a little weird'
Maybe she just teleported away or something' or maybe she's hiding in the
walls! Wait a sec, people can't teleport or hide in the walls!
What am I talking about? Get a hold of yourself, Dai! She probably
just went out the door, even though I didn't hear it open or close'
He shook his head several times to get his mind off all that and walked
over to the sink. Once there, he turned the water on and scooped
a little into his hands and splashed it over his face. Snap out
of it! There's no one here! He yelled to himself as the
cold water hit his face. He then ran his hands over his face and
got some of the water off. That's better, he thought, maybe
I just imagined that girl being in here, yeah that's it! It must
have just been a stress-induced hallucination caused by Hiro, that jerk.
Thinking about Hiroshi only made his blood boil, and he clenched his fists
and lightly punched the wall. 'That jerk!' He yelled as he
did so.
'Excuse me,' he heard a voice say and tap him gently on the shoulder.
'Huh?' he turned his head to see the same girl suddenly standing right
next to him. This just about freaked him out.
She smiled. 'I heard what you said about wanting a towel!'
She held up a towel and handing it to him.
'E-e-eh?!' His eyes widened.
'And another thing, darling,' she said, her eyes filling with stars as
she came up closer, 'you are the cutest thing I think I've seen yet here,
and I'm not just some hallucination! I am real and you're not insane,
and just one more thing,' she continued on, Daisuke didn't know what to
do, 'who is this Hiro guy, and what did he ever do to you to make you so
mad?' she asked, coming back from him. He just stared at her, his
eyes completely wide with words mumbling on his tongue. She giggled.
'Hmm, you don't talk much to others do you? Well, that's fine.
I think you're really cute anyway. Why don't we get out of this place
and try and work out this 'Hiro' problem together? We'll have lots
of fun doing it,' she winked at him.
Daisuke swallowed nervously and stepped away, 'Uh, I, uh, er-' he couldn't
get any coherent speech out and soon scrambled out of the men's room, trying
his hardest to dodge stuff as he nearly rammed into the door.
The girl just stared at him and blinked a couple times. 'Well, that
was rude. I guess he doesn't know a pretty girl when he sees one,'
she flipped her hair over her shoulder.
Meanwhile, Hiroshi and Yoshiko had finished getting all the food and were
sitting at the same table they had been before. Suddenly, they heard
a loud, yet familiar yell, so they turned their heads and saw Daisuke racing
over to them. Needless to say, he was making quite the scene.
'Hiro!' he called out as he came up and grabbed Hiroshi's shirt and frantically
tried to talk to him. He actually almost knocked him out of his seat.
'Whoa! Man, what happened to you?' he asked. Yoshiko watched
what was happening and couldn't help but place her hands over her mouth
as if in shock, which she probably was a little from seeing Daisuke so
frantic.
'I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-' He wasn't getting anywhere.
'Ok, man. Just breathe. It's alright,' he said, taking a deep
breath as an example for him to follow, which he of course didn't.
'I-I was peeing, and-'
'H-hold on, you were peeing at the slurpee place?'
Daisuke was just about ready to really kill him now. 'NO! I
WASN'T PEEING AT THE SLURPEE PLACE, I WAS PEEING IN THE FREAKIN' MEN'S
ROOM, OK?!!!!!!!!!' He screamed at him. Everyone automatically
turned and looked at him and the entire food court was silenced.
Yoshiko couldn't help but blush and Daisuke saw that he was being stared
at by about 500 sets of eyes. He also realized that the thing he
had said was something he would have preferred to not share with the entire
world, so he blushed and laughed at himself. 'Heh, heh, heh, I said
that a bit loud, didn't I?' he asked quietly, so only Hiroshi could barley
hear him. Soon, everyone went back to doing whatever and gossiped
about that cute guy who was being totally weird. Daisuke was relieved
they stopped staring at him, so he went back to trying to explain to Hiroshi
what happened to him.
'Ok, ok, hold on a sec. You were in the men's room? What about
the slurpees?' he asked, being terribly dense.
'I had to go, ok?' he explained slowly so his small mind could comprehend.
He shook his head and continued. 'Anyway, so I was in the men's room,
and I was' you know, and then I heard this voice. So I looked around
and saw this girl who must have appeared just out of no where and she was
standing right next to me! I didn't even hear her open the door or
walk up to me or anything!' he explained quickly.
Hiroshi just stared at him for a while. 'And' you're sure this was
a girl in the men's room?'
Daisuke scowled at him and could feel his stress level expanding to dangerous
levels. 'Of course it was a girl! I'm not blind, you know!'
He smiled. 'Well, that's sort of exciting' he said and then he came
in closer to him. 'Now, this girl, was she cute?'
'Super cute,' Daisuke whispered back, making Hiroshi very excited.
'Well, I'm feeling the sudden need to use the restroom now-'
'Hold it!' Daisuke pulled him back down into his seat. 'I'm not done,
I still have to tell you the weirdest part about it.'
'What's that?' he asked, very anxious to go see for himself.
'Well, this is going to sound super bizarre, but I think this girl was
able to read my thoughts!'
'Read your thoughts?' Hiroshi cocked an eyebrow and was seriously starting
to wonder if Daisuke was running a fever.
'Yeah! She was asking me about the exact things I had been thinking!
Now, I don't know what that means, but there's something seriously weird
going on when a girl just seems to appear out of no where and can read
my thoughts! Not to mention the fact that she was in the men's room.
I mean, why would a girl be in the men's room?'
'Hmm,' Hiroshi rubbed his chin, trying to figure it out, 'this is certainly
a strange situation' I think I shall need to do some detective work on
it, my dear Dai. Come, to the men's room!' he jetted his finger into
the air and stood up, but Daisuke quickly pulled him back down.
'No way! You don't want this girl reading your thoughts, she'd murder
your if she knew the kinds of things you think about! Especially
while looking at her'
Hiroshi looked offended at first, but then nodded to agree. 'You're
right, and I like my life.'
'I think we should just not worry about it right now,' he said with a deep
sigh. 'Maybe she was a ghost'
Yoshiko had been listening to their conversation and didn't really know
what to make of it, but she decided it was a good time to switch subjects.
'Would you two like to eat now?'
Hiroshi looked at all the different trays and things they had gotten from
all the restaurants, while Daisuke just glanced over to them. 'That
sounds wonderful, my dear,' he said, sliding a slice of pizza over to himself.
'Why did you get so much food?' Daisuke demanded as he saw the many different
items.
'Why not? We had money, so we used it.'
Daisuke sighed and thought about all the money he had just lost.
'We're never gonna be able to eat all this in one meal.'
'You know, you're right. We need doggy bags.'
'We also need utensils and straws and napkins. I guess we forgot
to get some when we were getting the food,' Yoshiko pointed out.
'I'll go get some.'
'No, let me,' Daisuke said, standing up. 'I need to do something
to take my mind off of everything. You guys go ahead and start eating.
I'll be back soon,' he said and then left.
'Ok' Yoshiko was a little surprised by that.
'Ah, don't worry about him. He's having problems today, although
I would like to see this mysterious ghost girl for myself,' Hiroshi coaxed
and continued eating his pizza.
Daisuke walked over to a restaurant and couldn't get what happened out
of his head. Just what was that weird girl, anyway? He tried
not to think about it as much and waited in line to ask for the things
they needed. He was standing right behind a very tall, large woman
that looked like she belonged on some gladiator show or something.
She had greatly protruding muscles and a firm, stalky build. All
in all, not someone he would want to ever get on the bad side of.
Just his luck though, right in back of him came some big guy with a long
white beard that made him look like he belonged in a Christmas display
with a large pot belly that nearly crowded him right up against the big
buff lady. He tried his hardest not to bump into her, but to his
advantage, right before he was forced forward, she walked out of line,
to his relief. Then as he moved forward, he accidentally bumped into
the new person now in front of him, knocking her off balance and sending
her to the ground.
Daisuke gasped, 'Oh no, are you alright?' He came down to her.
The back of her head was facing him and she was making a sniffing sound.
That just made Daisuke feel even worse, because now, he thought, not only
had he knocked her over, he had made her cry. 'Man, I'm sorry, miss.
Here, let me help you up,' he said kindly, reaching his hand out to her
as he stood up. With her head still turned, she reached her hand
back up and Daisuke pulled her up.
'Oh, darling!' She cried as he pulled her to her feet. She
turned around and rubbed her head against his chest. Daisuke gasped
and was a little confused as he stared down at the girl's head. Then,
the girl stopped rubbing her head against him and looked up into his eyes.
Now, he recognized her and started getting very terrified. 'I-it's
you!' He stuttered.
The girl blushed. 'Oh, you remember me, I'm so happy, darling!' she
said and threw her arms around him. She was freaking him out and
he nearly began to panic again. She saw this and laughed softly.
'Come now, you don't have to be scared of me. Is it because of before,
in the bathroom?'
'Uh huh'.' he said slowly, taking a deep breath. Daisuke was way
too petrified with fear to move or even attempt to escape. It was
as if he was totally under the control of this girl that was reading his
thoughts.
'Please don't worry about that' she purred. 'And I don't usually
hang out in bathrooms anyway, you just struck my fancy at the right moment.'
Daisuke blushed and looked around to see several people again staring at
him and this girl, because she didn't exactly say those things in the quietest
tone she could have. 'Is'that'so?' He asked, his voice cracking,
which she thought was incredibly cute and only gave her more derive to
continue on. Daisuke was wishing he could disappear into a wall right
about then.
'Uh huh!' She smiled with just a hint of naughtiness and slid a finger
along his chest. 'Wow' her eyes sparkled, 'you must work out'
His
breathing quickened and his blush grew even bigger. He watched people
keep staring at them and swallowed nervously. 'Yeah, I uh' swim.'
He tried to back away, but she only brought him up closer and would not
let him get away.
'Really? You do that as a competitive sport or something around here?
How intriguing' she smiled at him again. 'This place is very interesting
and you're the most interesting person I've met. There's so much
you could teach me about this place since you look so smart.' The
girl giggled and tapped his nose. He was staring vapidly. She
looked deeply into his eyes that were so dark and so pure that they almost
looked white in the shade of his face. Her breath was nearly taken
away from the sight. 'And you're definitely the best looking
person I've met' your face looks so kind' she giggled again, 'so that's
why you should be my boyfriend. You can teach me everything about
this place and we can live happy forever... Shall we ditch this line and
go somewhere more private?' she asked, finally coming away from him.
He looked at her with a very troubled look on his face. 'Uh, please
excuse me,' he said as he took off slowly in the other direction.
She was surprised to see him go, so she hurried after him.
'Darling! Wait!' She called and wrapped around his arm once
she caught up to him. 'Where are you going?' she queried.
He looked at her and stopped walking, feeling slightly annoyed. 'Look,
I don't know who you are or what you want from me, but I really don't like
how fast you're moving into a relationship with a complete stranger.'
She paused to think. 'Oh, that? Well, it would be nice, don't
you think?' he sneered and jerked his head to the side. She pretended
not to see that, letting a slight melancholy smile drift over her face,
'Darling' are you really mad at me?'
He scowled more at her and freed his arm, ultimately walking away from
her. 'Why do you keep calling me 'darling'? I don't even know
you! You really freaked me out earlier in the bathroom, how were
you able to read my thoughts like that?'
The girl smiled slightly, 'It was easy! You were exerting so much
negative energy, your thoughts basically deafened me! The only time
I can ever read anyone's thoughts is when they're as intense as yours were
then, so don't worry.'
Daisuke raised an eyebrow. 'Well, ok, but that still really freaks
me out. It's a bit abnormal.' He began to walk away.
The girl gasped at what she had heard him say. It was like she could
feel her tender heart break and all possibilities diminish between herself
and this new boy she had already become so fond of. Telling herself
it was a joke, she shook her head and took small steps to him, 'Aw, come
on! Don't say that! I know we got off to a bad start, but'
I' really do think you're awesome'
He stopped in his tracks as that message flooded him. Slowly, he
turned to her standing there, looking ashamed of what she had done.
Daisuke sighed. 'Sorry' I better get going now, there's already a
normal girl I'm interested in.' He continued walking along his way.
The girl couldn't believe what had just happened. She watched him
disappear into the crowd, turned blurry from her heart-broken tears.
She stared down at the ground and felt the tears streaming heavier down
her cheeks and wondered why things had happened that way. 'Baka'
she whispered and disappeared.
Daisuke finally made it back to the table and sat down, thinking about
that rude girl. But then, his heart softened and he couldn't help
but feel sorry about what he had done, which just put him in an even worse
mood.
'Hello, Daisuke-sa-' Yoshiko started to say as she saw him not looking
very happy. 'Are you alright?'
'Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine, never better!' He lied as he sipped
his diluted soda that had lost flavor and detection of even once being
soda. After he did so, he sighed again as he thought about what he
did.
Hiroshi and Yoshiko looked at each other as they could sense something
was not right. Hiroshi began to try to talk to him, 'Hey man, does
it have to do with'
'... Trust me, it's probably not what you think,' he sighed.
'What's wrong? Please tell us.' Yoshiko lovingly provoked.
He looked up at her smile and couldn't resist.
'Well' I made a girl really sad and probably really mad at me too just
now.' He began, staring off to the side.
'Oh' Yoshiko understood how that felt.
'So? What happened?' Hiroshi nudged him to continue.
'Well, you remember that girl I was telling you about earlier?' They
both nodded. 'When I went to get the stuff I accidentally was pushed
into her, so then I helped her up and she started acting so' well, just
plain pushy, like she thought she owned me or something.'
'Oh, really?' That tweaked Hiroshi's interest, of course.
'Uh' yeah. Well anyway, so then she was saying all this stuff to
me, but I didn't want anything to do with it, so I left, but she caught
up to me and still tried to convince me that it was a good idea and stuff,
but I was still pretty put out by what she was doing before, and I' I guess
I said something' and' he couldn't talk anymore and just sat thinking
about the terrible thing he had done. 'I feel really bad now and
I just gotta apologize to her. She probably thinks I'm the biggest
jerk in the world.' He sighed and lowered his head.
Yoshiko scooted over and set her hand on his back. 'I'm sorry.
Is there anything I can do?'
'Well, if you could make me go back in time and straighten things out,
that would rock.'
'Hmm' sorry, that's one thing I can't do,' she said discouraged and started
to rub his back.
'Well, duh, man! Why don't you just go after her!' Hiroshi
concluded after much deep thought. Yoshiko and Daisuke looked up
at him. 'Yeah, like they do in the chick flicks! You could
go find her and you could be like oh, baby, I'm sorry, and she could
be like, that's ok, thank you soooooo much for apologizing to me.
I love you so much! And then, you two can go off and live a healthy,
fruitful life in New York with 7 loving children, 4 adopted from India.
Wait a sec' That could be me! Hey, man, uh' I gotta go-'
'Chill, Hiro. She's long gone by now I bet. She's probably
off reading the thoughts of other stupid guys just like me.'
'Reading thoughts?' Yoshiko asked curiously.
'Uh, yeah. Like I was saying before. I guess she's got this
weird ability to read people's thoughts sometimes, it's pretty amazing.
I actually thought I was dreaming it all up when I witnessed it for myself.'
Yoshiko suddenly turned rather pale. Millions of thoughts seemed
to dance within her mind at once. 'Excuse me, but' how exactly did
this girl look?' She was very eager to know for some reason, and
Daisuke thought that was a little strange, but he decided to tell her anyway.
'Look like? Well, she was just a bit shorter than you, and she had
this long wild red hair and great big blue eyes'
After she heard that, Yoshiko's eyes grew larger and she gasped.
'Misami!' She whispered quickly.
'What? Misami?' Daisuke asked confusedly. Yoshiko didn't answer,
but her surprised expression grew and her hands even began to shake a little
bit. 'Yoshiko, what's wrong?' He began to worry as she continued
to act this way. Hiroshi was off in his own little world, again,
so he wasn't paying much attention once some cute girls sat down at a table
across the food court. 'Yoshiko!' He finally raised his voice a little
and shook her gently.
She looked at him and tears were welling up in her beautiful green eyes.
'I can't believe it!' she began in a trembling voice, yet she was very
happy, 'She's finally come!'
'Who? Who's finally come?' he asked very concerned.
Yoshiko shook her head and wiped the tears away. 'Daisuke-san, I
have to go now,' she simply said and stood up.
'What? Wait a sec, where are you going?' He called to her as she
began to walk away.
She turned her head over her shoulder and smiled. 'To find someone
special that I didn't think I'd see again for a long time' And with that,
she turned the other way and began to make her way through the crowd.
Now, Daisuke isn't one of those guys to wait around and watch the girl
of his dreams just walk out of his life, so, of course, he went after her.
Hiroshi was all by himself at the table, but he didn't mind. He was
writing some notes and things inside his Special Little Notebook, inspired
by the girls he kept glancing over at.
Yoshiko was slowly making her way through the dense crowd of people, not
knowing that Daisuke was following her. Speaking of Daisuke, he was
tagging behind a ways. He was just curious of what she was doing
and why she'd just leave him like that. He was starting to worry
that it was because of him, and that just made him feel worse.
Yoshiko kept straining her way through the crowd and she got to a very
packed part of the mall and was forced into a couple of people on accident.
She apologized and squeezed to a place with a bit more space. Out
of the corner of her eye, she thought she saw someone to Daisuke's description,
so she quickly headed that way, but her view had become blocked again by
several people walking by. So she quickly rushed over and went around
them, when she did, again she accidentally knocked into someone, knocking
them both to the ground.
They both landed on the ground, which wasn't exactly the softest thing
to fall onto. The person she knocked into sat up and held her head
after it had gotten smacked against the floor. 'Hey, what is the
big idea?! Can't you see I'm walking here!' she yelled as she held
her hurting head.
Yoshiko sat up and bowed. 'Oh, I'm so sorry! Please forgive
me!' She said with her head cowered. The person looked down
at her finally and couldn't help but have a serge of shock run through
her. Yoshiko finally raised her head up. 'I'm very so-' she
ended as she saw two very familiar bright blue eyes staring back at her.
She gasped and the two stared at each other for a very long time.
Happy, rejoicing tears found their way down both of their faces and finally,
with trembling lips, Yoshiko was able to quietly squeak out, 'M-Misami'
it is you'
The girl she had bumped into wiped the endlessly flowing stream of tears
from her own eyes and nodded. 'Sis' she whispered softly as more
tears came to her eyes.
'I can't believe it's really you' I've missed you so much' Yoshiko cried
and they instantly reached for each other and embraced in a wonderful hug.
Daisuke was looking around, but he had lost track of Yoshiko. He
wouldn't let himself believe that, so he kept searching. Finally,
after the crowd parted a little, his eye was caught by very beautiful cerulean
hair, so he looked harder and saw her at the other side of the court.
Without waiting to hesitate, he quickly went over to her direction, but
he didn't know that she wasn't by herself.
The
two kept holding each other and passing people thought that was a little
strange. They were together and that was all they cared about.
Daisuke finally made it closer to her and he, without waiting, called to
her, 'Yoshiko!' Amazingly enough, she didn't hear that, so after
he got closer, he tried again, 'Yoshi-' he began, but was taken by surprise
when he saw what she was doing.
Hearing that familiar male voice perfectly, she withdrew herself and turned
to see Daisuke peering down at her. She gasped just because she wasn't
expecting him. He kept looking down at her and had many questions
as to what she was up to. The girl Yoshiko had been hugging set her
head down in her lap and just rested there.
Fortunately, he couldn't see her down there. 'Yoshiko' what are you
doing?' he asked calmly, yet there was desperation in his voice.
She took a deep breath and looked off to the side. 'Daisuke-san'
I'
'Sis, want to go get some ice cream? I hear it's a real treat here,'
a faint voice said, interrupting her explanation. Daisuke was confused
by that, so he walked around a little to one side and saw the same girl
he had been so rude to before resting on her lap! His eyes widened
and more questions were being raised in his mind. Yoshiko knew that
she was the girl he had met before.
Finally, she lifted her head up and sat upright. She saw that Yoshiko
had a bewildered look on her face and she didn't know why. 'What's
wrong?' she asked, obviously not noticing Daisuke staring at the both of
them.
'Um, Misami-chan, this is Daisuke-san,' she hesitantly said, pointing over
to him. She turned her head and saw the same boy from before.
Their eyes met and cruel memories filled both of them. 'Daisuke-san,
I would like you to meet Misami' my sister.' She introduced.
At the mention of the word 'sister,' Daisuke was filled with total disbelief
and more questions than he could even begin to ask. He just couldn't
believe this naughty, overpowering girl had any relation to sweet, meek,
and incredibly kind Yoshiko! It just didn't seem to add up!
Misami kept looking up at him and her expressionless face then developed
a huge scowl on it that pierced directly at Daisuke. He blinked a
few times and felt that very discomforting. She kept glaring at him,
but he instead gave her a dorky smile, the best he could manage while he
was being given the dirtiest look possibly ever. 'Um' hi there!
It's nice to meet you, Misami-chan' he said, only trying to be friendly,
but she burst up, ran over to him and pounded her hand into his face, sending
him to the ground.
Yoshiko gasped and stood up. 'Daisuke-san! Misami-chan!'
She yelled and rushed over to him. Misami just stared down at him
as rage and anger filled her. More tears fell down her face and she
began to breathe a bit heavily, and unsuccessfully attempted restraining
more tears. As strange as this may seem, hardly anyone noticed this
little incident, but a few were gathered at a distance to see what was
going on.
Daisuke sat up and held the stinging place where she had hit him.
Yoshiko was quivering from concern and she looked up at her sister and
couldn't help but get a little angry with her for doing that. 'Why
did you do that?' she yelled demandingly.
More tears fell from her eyes and she glared down at him again. 'Sis,
you have no idea what this boy has done!' she yelled back in a shaky voice,
and then came up closer to him. 'Does it sting? That's what
it felt like when you were so cruel to me,' she said relatively calmly,
but then, she lost it. 'You are such a jerk!!!! Do you actually
expect me to accept being treated like that?!! Oh, I hate you!!'
She cowered to the ground and buried her head in her hands, sobbing.
'Misami-chan, you-' Yoshiko started, but Daisuke cut her off.
'No. She's right.' He said surprisingly passively and then
looked over at her crying there. 'She's right about everything.
I deserved that.' Yoshiko just worriedly looked at him and he calmly
set a hand on Misami's shaking back.
When she felt that, she looked up and met his gorgeous dark brown eyes
looking warmly at her. She didn't know what to do and her tears streamed
down her cheeks.
'Thank you, and I'm sorry,' he said in a deep, soothing voice, looking
deeply into her tear soaked eyes. She stared back and didn't quite
at first know what to do, but then, she sat back and threw his hand off.
'Shut up!!! Don't try that with me!!! Just leave me alone,
you're not sorry at all, you jerk!!!' She screamed in his face and
almost got up when his voice interrupted her process.
'But' I am sorry' you did something to me that I needed to have done.'
His beautiful voice remained calm. She gasped and the tears fell
from her widened eyes. He came up close to her and held out his arms.
She instantly shook her head and more tears came. 'No! No,
you jerk!' She said, attempting to slap him again, but she missed
and lost her balance and fell right into his arms. He wrapped them
around her. She was tense and tears streamed down her face and she
wondered how she had ended up like that. Daisuke held her gently
in a firm, yet soft embrace. Her head was resting upon his warm chest,
and she could hear his slow, relaxed heartbeat. Now, she wasn't feeling
quite as mad and just the sound of this even beat calmed her. She
brought her hands up and held them around him, and never wanted to leave
his arms. He brought his head down and set his lips right by her
ear. His warm, sweet breath stirred a wonderful sensation in her.
'Thank you,' he whispered gently, which was surprising to her. 'I'm
very sorry for acting so heartless before. I don't know what got
into me. I really deserved that hit and I really was a jerk, but
please forgive me. I promise I'll never do that again, and thank
you for making me realize how terrible I was.'
His soft words rang loudly in her and now she began to also feel sorry
also. He took his arms from around her and she sat looking straight
up into his deep eyes. Her eyes were streaming with tears, but she
had calmed down finally. 'Daisuke-chan' she whispered.
He smiled down at her. 'How about that ice cream now?' he asked.
She smiled back and nodded. Yoshiko was glad that they had made up
and smiled at them both. Right then, they all heard some clapping.
'Wow, that was better than a chick flick!' Hiroshi said sarcastically.
They just looked up at him and laughed a little, but they did become a
little embarrassed once they discovered more people lightly clapping for
them, and once they discovered they were still on the ground, so they quickly
stood up and tried to ignore the other people. Hiroshi stopped clapping
once a little something caught his eye: Misami. He quickly combed
through his brilliant blonde hair and smoothly walked over to her, obviously
going for a good first impression. Daisuke knew what he was trying
to do and sighed, shaking his head.
He walked up to Misami, and she just stood there, not even noticing him.
He looked her over and walked a little out of her view and secretly got
out his Special Little Notebook and began recording notes of what she was
like, which I would describe, but it would be far too disturbing, I think.
As he continued recording the notes about her, he occasionally mumbled
stuff as his eyes darted between the notebook and Misami. Misami
was quick to hear some of his broken words and she turned around to see
him.
'Can I help you?' she asked a little annoyed.
He looked up with sparkling eyes. 'Actually' you know, I don't think
we've met before. My name is Shiozawa Hiroshi, and I'm very pleased
to meet you,' he said, gently grabbing hold of her hand. Oh man!
He thought, her hand is so soft! She's definitely magically babelicious!
She just stared at him for a bit. She was actually getting a pretty
good idea of what he was thinking about, it was pretty intense thought
after all' For no apparent reason other than to make him too excited
for his own good (which she specializes at) she smiled at him a bit suggestively,
but took her hand away. He was left there in a total daze.
'Well, my name is Misami. Tell me, are you normally this, um' dirty?'
'Huh? Oh, no, never!' He said, implying that he was the most
righteous person in the world. Sorry, boy, we all know you too well
for that.
'Oh, really?' she asked, pretending to sound disappointed, just to give
him a hard time. 'I was hoping you were. I just adore perverts,'
she winked at him.
'Y-you do? Well then, I am! I'm the biggest pervert on the
planet! Really! Just ask Dai over there!'
She began to laugh and walked over to Yoshiko and Daisuke, leaving Hiroshi
standing there in a daze.
'Mama, that guy just said that he was the biggest pervert on the planet,'
a little kid said to his mom. Hiroshi turned to see this kid pointing
at him. The mother gasped and gave Hiroshi a very horrible look and
grabbed her kid's hand.
'Come on, we're leaving now!' she ordered and they stormed off. Hiroshi
watched them leave. Oops, he thought as they left.
Eventually, he made his way to the others and sat down between Misami and
Yoshiko on a bench, a place he really enjoyed. Daisuke was sitting
on Yoshiko's opposite side while they all just sat there doing nothing
more and nothing less. 'Well, what now?' Daisuke turned and asked
everyone. Misami didn't like having to sit by Hiroshi, so she stood
up and sat on the other side of Daisuke and set her head on his shoulder.
Everyone, especially Daisuke was surprised by that as they all began staring
over at her. Daisuke couldn't help but blush as she did this.
'Darling,' she said sweetly, 'I think sis wants to get a few things, and
I could use some things too, if that's ok.'
'Oh yeah' he said as he remembered that. 'By the way,' he turned
to the others, 'what about all that food you guys got?'
'All taken care of! When you guys left, I got doggy bags, see?'
Hiroshi said as he held up a large plastic bag filled with several doggy
bags.
'Oh' thanks man. Well then, shall we get going?' He asked again,
standing up.
Misami and Yoshiko both looked at each other and nodded excitedly.
Hiroshi just sighed. He hated going shopping, unless, of course it
was in the lingerie department, and then he thought that they just might
go there because maybe Yoshiko and Misami needed some items from that section!
Just the thought of that sent tingles through his spine and awakened his
hentai-ness, not that it was ever 'unawakened' to begin with' even though
that's not a word, you know what I mean.
Yoshiko and Misami stood up and went over to Daisuke. 'This is so
generous of you. We are so grateful to you, Daisuke-san,' Yoshiko
said.
'You're so cool! And you are soooo cute!' Misami said unrestrained
by anything.
He laughed a little and blushed for about the millionth time since Yoshiko
had come into his life. 'Heh heh, yeah' I guess I'm just a sucker
for pretty girls, especially when they're as great as you' He accidentally
said aloud, causing a bigger blush.
Finally, Hiroshi stood up and went over to the others, specifically, Yoshiko
and Misami. The thing was, though, whenever he'd get close to Misami,
she'd back away and go over to Daisuke or something. Hmm, playing
hard to get. My kind of woman! Hiroshi would always tell
himself, but Misami wasn't exactly thinking the same. What is with this
sick little perv?! Why doesn't he just get a lamb or something if
he's that desperate?! was more of what she thought.
'Well, we better get going. So, shall we?' Daisuke asked the two
and they both excitedly agreed and Misami wrapped her arms around his arm
and Yoshiko again took his hand. Hiroshi was a bit jealous and discouraged
of that, but he shrugged it off and followed behind them down the crowded
hall.
They walked by several stores, including one specializing in women's underwear
and Hiroshi tried to make them all go in there, but no one but him seemed
to like that idea very much. Finally, though, they came up to a large
department store that had just about anything that had to do with clothing,
appliances, or electronics one could ever hope for. This place would
be perfect for them, so they all willingly piled inside. Now, this
store was big, I mean HUGE, so obviously, they all felt a little
overwhelmed by the whole thing and had no idea where to begin. 'Um'
where do we go now?' Yoshiko asked, in awe by the immense largeness
of everything.
'I dunno' maybe there's a store directory or something,' Daisuke answered,
looking around for one.
'You mean one of these?' Misami asked, pointing up to a big map of
the big store. They all crowded around it to figure out where exactly
they needed to go. Daisuke looked up to it and tried to make sense
of it. There were so many different department names and aisles and
corners and stuff... it about made his eyes go fuzzy.
'Uh' they certainly don't make these things the easiest to read,' said
Daisuke, straining to find where they needed to go. Hiroshi, who
had been watching form behind, sneaked up from behind and popped up right
in front of Daisuke.
'Oh, you guys are such novices! I never go shopping and even I know
how to read one of these!' he said, sounding quite cocky. Daisuke
glared down at him. He searched around for a bit until his eyes focused
directly on two words: Women's clothing. 'Aha! There it is!'
He said proudly, pointing at it, trying to hide his apparent excitedness.
The others looked and saw it too, a bit amazed that Hiroshi was actually
good at map reading.
'Let's get going then. It looks like we need to go up the escalator
to get there.' Misami suggested and everyone agreed. No one
was happier to hear that than Hiroshi, who just couldn't get images of
Yoshiko and Misami in luxurious, sexy cloths out of his head. They
all walked on to the escalator and made it to the second story of the building.
Conveniently enough, right as the second story became visible, they could
all easily see that the women's sections was right there, smack dab in
front of them. They all walked off the escalator and Daisuke caught
Hiroshi's hand right before he could escape to reek his havoc. 'And
just where do you think you're going?' he asked coldly.
Hiroshi looked up at him, his eyes full of tears, and answered in his most
pathetic voice, 'I-I-I-I-I wanna go with them!' He pointed to the
girls who were checking out some shirts. Daisuke frowned as an irritated
look formed on his face. He tightened his grip on his hand and walked
over to them.
'We'll be over in the sporting section. You guys pick out what you
want and come get us when you're done, Ok?' he asked Yoshiko, who agreed,
but Misami didn't like that plan all that much.
'Aw, no way! Don't you want to check out some pretty clothes with
me?' Misami asked, smiling sweetly at him. He rolled his eyes,
but that comment caught 'you know who's' attention. He excitedly
shot up and took her hand.
'Misami-chan! I would be honored to look at pretty clothes with you!!'
Misami just gave him a sickened look and Daisuke pulled him by the ear
in the other direction, feeling embarrassed for the both of them.
Misami sighed and shook her head. Yoshiko and her began wandering
through the section.
Daisuke drug Hiroshi the whole way to the sporting section which was at
the opposite side of the women's clothing. Hiroshi tried to escape
the whole time, but Daisuke's incredibly strong grasp was able to hold
his thrashing, but his ears had a little trouble cooping with his screaming.
Once they made it down an aisle of the sporting section, he let go of his
hand and glared at him. Hiroshi pushed himself up against some basketballs,
almost knocking some off of their racks. He was openly getting a
little scared of him. 'S-s-stay back! I have powers!' he warned,
once again in his pathetic voice.
Daisuke swore softly from annoyance and tried to keep from totally cussing
him out. 'Hiro! Why do you always gotta be like that?' he screamed
through clenched teeth.
'Like what?' he asked innocently.
Daisuke sighed. 'Oh, never mind! You're going to stay with
me while the girls find what they need, understand?'
Hiroshi rolled his eyes and quietly muttered under his breath, 'whatever'
Daisuke ignored that and looked at his surroundings. 'What are we
doing here anyway?'
'I need to find some new goggles and stuff, and you're going to help me
find them.'
'I am?' he asked bewildered.
'Come on,' Daisuke said and walked down the aisle. Hiroshi thought
that was a dumb idea, but he followed right behind him, though wishing
he was with the girls. Eventually, Daisuke found professional swimming
equipment and began looking for goggles. Hiroshi followed and sighed
from EXTREME boredom. Looking for goggles was not his idea of fun.
He moved his dull eyes around him and saw something that appealed to him
heart and soul. He strained to get a better view of it through his
glasses and found yet two more words that sent his heart in a whirl: Intimate
apparel. Immediately after he saw that, he gasped and his eyes grew
several times their normal size. He cleared his throat and tried
to settle himself. 'So uh' you done yet?' He asked, hiding
the happiness in his low, excitable voice.
'No, this sucks! I don't think they have the kind I need.'
'What does is matter? Goggles are goggles! Just pick some!'
'No, I need a special kind Guchi told me to get and I'm not seeing it here.
I guess I'll go ask them if they even have that kind.'
'Well, have fun!' Hiroshi turned to walk the other way.
'Hold it!' Daisuke called to him. He stopped and slowly turned his
head. 'Now, where do you think you're going?'
'Um' just' to the little boy's room' he said, sheepishly not making eye
contact with him.
Daisuke just stared at him and smirked. 'Whatever. Don't be
gone forever,' he said back to him, which actually almost made him wet
his pants. He just couldn't believe that he would actually let him
go off somewhere unattended! (WOW! He's a big boy now!) He
turned around to see that he had gone to talk to a store worker about some
special goggles. After a couple seconds, he believed what was happening
was in fact reality and not some fine dream, and couldn't help but give
an evil little laugh. He was free! Finally, free! Before
anything else happened, he slithered over to the intimate apparel section,
his personal favorite.
There he stood, directly in front of the biggest collection of women's
underwear one could ever see together at one place. His curious eyes
scanned all along it, up and down, in and out, until he had practically
memorized the exact location of everything, and made detailed notes in
his Special Little Notebook. After making sure that no one was watching
him, he disappeared inside a frontier that few males had been brave enough
to fully explore.
Meanwhile, Daisuke had been directed to what he needed and had noticed
that Hiroshi was no where to be found. He then seriously regretted
letting him go off to the bathroom, by that time he had suspected that
he had gone off to do other things instead. After cursing himself
for his lack of responsibility, he went off to try to look for him.
He walked out of the aisle and looked all around. His eyes then landed
on the intimate apparel sign hanging right across the aisle'he could easily
guess that that was the place the hopeful hentai had gone to. Feeling
both very embarrassed and aggravated, he quietly sneaked in and saw the
exact same things his hentai friend had seen moments earlier.
Hiroshi was very much enjoying his time observing his surroundings and
writing in his Special Little Notebook. Staring at the beautiful
plastic goddesses (which was his interpretation of the manikins) was so
inspiring to him! He looked up at them and proceeded in drawing the
two figures, only adding Misami and Yoshiko's heads in place of the dull
plastic ones. 'So wonderful!' he squealed with excitement.
After searching around a bit, Daisuke found Hiroshi and there was no hiding
what he was doing. It just about made him explode. After the
sketches were nearly complete, Hiroshi began writing more notes fanatically
and began to jump up and down exclaiming, 'Oh, what a great idea!
They can be models for me on my nighttime excursions through Hiro Hiro
Land!' he grinned happily and just imagined it. Daisuke was too disturbed
to say anything for a while, but finally, he just had to do something.
'Hiro!!!!!!!' he yelled.
Hiroshi jumped from being startled and immediately turned to see Daisuke.
'Oh, hey, what's up?' His heart was pounding, he knew Daisuke would
want to murder him!
Daisuke looked him on in disgust and his eyes became tense. 'Wh-what
are you doing?' he asked, appalled.
He looked back, but guiltily avoided direct eye contact. 'What are you
talkin' about? Nothin', man!' he answered sheepishly.
His eye twitched from exasperation. 'It didn't seem that way to me'
He observed the tightly clenched Special Little Notebook embraced against
Hiroshi's chest. Daisuke sighed and wondered why he put up with him, but
then, he got angry' almost to the extent where he couldn't speak properly.
'Why' here' are you'??' he twitched with rage.
'Umm...' Hiroshi looked around at his surroundings, trying to appear as
innocent as he possibly could. 'I'm just nurturing my imagination,
and feeding my natural curiosity and manly needs.'
'If you keep this up, you won't need to feed those manly needs anymore'
muttered Daisuke with yet more twitching. 'You know,' he spoke to
him again in a dark voice, 'you're going to be the death of me' What the
heck are you doing over here when I told you to stay put?!'
'You said I could go!!'
'TO THE LITTLE BOY'S ROOM!!' He yelled, drawing stares from passersby.
And it didn't help that they both were standing in the middle of the lingerie
department either.
'Geez, Dai' calm down' your veins are popping out' Ok, whatever, I'll go
back with you.' Hiroshi began to walk out of the intimate apparel
department and back to the sporting section. Daisuke was surprised
he had convinced him to leave so easily. He knew he must have been
hiding something... Sighing once more, he turned to leave the forbidden
domain.
*
They were on their way home. The girls had gotten some adequate things
for themselves. Well, maybe it was just a little bit more than was
needed for the time being' especially in Misami's case. After hauling
several huge shopping bags, they finally made it closer to Daisuke's house
as an early afternoon sky hung over head. Misami nearly burst with
excitement at the thought of entering Daisuke's house, to which she expressed
very efficiently in random acts of hugging and squealing every advancing
step they took. 'Darling, your home must be sooooo spectacular!'
she commented along the way.
With arms that felt as if they would detach at any moment from carrying
a ridiculous amount of full shopping bags, our heroes (man, doesn't that
sound cheesy?) finally took the exhausting final steps toward the door
of Daisuke's home. It looked very inviting to them all as Misami
happily observed the 'chateau.'
'We're here,' Daisuke, carefully balancing several shopping bags, pulled
out the key from his pocket and unlocked the door.
'Yay!!' Misami nuzzled against Daisuke, almost causing him to drop every
bag. 'I can't believe I get to go into your house, this is all too
much for one day!'
'Yeah,' he tried to back away, 'tell me about it'
Hiroshi rolled his eyes, 'Oh please, let's just go in.' He was still
a little bitter from not being able to fully finish his 'business' with
the manikins' that was for the better, though. Hiroshi pushed his
way through and opened the door himself, entering Daisuke's house with
only the doggy bags in his hands. Yoshiko almost felt sorry for him
in her humble way and soon followed after him, followed shortly by Misami,
nearly glued to poor Daisuke.
After dropping everything in the entryway, the group stretched to get out
the kinks that had developed in their arms from carrying all the bags.
Daisuke smiled once Misami had withdrawn herself after being hinted by
her sister to take off her shoes before entering his home. 'Well,
this is it, home sweet home.'
Misami set her shoes neatly down and stood up tall again to totally agree.
'Anywhere with you is sweet, darling' she nuzzled against his chest again.
Daisuke blushed, laughing pathetically and helplessly. Yoshiko felt
almost ripped inside, looking at that, and Hiroshi just felt a strong sting
of jealousy.
'Well, anyway, before anything else happens, why don't we all go and sit
down for a while?' Daisuke spoke, softly attempting to pry her off.
And so, that's just what they did. Misami was almost glued to Daisuke
again and Yoshiko and Hiroshi were quiet as they went to the white couch
in the living room to rest their legs.
'Wow' Misami was truly impressed as she looked all around at Daisuke's
very superbly decorated home. She leaned to Yoshiko and asked, 'Are
all Earth homes this nice, sis?' She gave her a look that seemed
to force her to keep quiet.
Hiroshi then stood up from his place at the edge of the couch where he
threw off the blanket Daisuke had used when he slept there the previous
night. He looked more serious than usual, 'I think I'll go home now.'
He quietly stepped toward the door.
'Uh, Hiro?' Daisuke kept his eyes on him as he made his way across
the room. 'Where ya going, man? What's with you?'
Hiroshi stopped in his tracks as that question came to him. He knew
perfectly well and turned his head back with that same serious face.
When he saw Misami guzzling over Daisuke, he felt it again, that sudden
discord of distressed jealousy. 'I just suddenly feel like I'm not
welcome here.' His voice was colder and he turned again.
'What?' Daisuke stood up, which only made Hiroshi walk further away.
'Hiro, come on' of course you're welcome here, you're my best friend, right?'
'Best friend?' He turned again with a look of discontent. The
girls were watching, Yoshiko was beginning to get very concerned with the
whole situation and Misami was imagining her wedding to Daisuke.
Hiroshi sighed, shaking his head, 'Since when is a 'best friend' supposed
to do what you do to me?'
' What the heck are you talking about?' Daisuke stepped back once
with stooping eyebrows.
'You're always getting upset with me for just being who I am.'
Daisuke was about to spit out a defense, but stopped himself. He
looked to the side, 'Well, think about it' some of the stuff you put me
through is' well' it's not pretty.'
'What are you saying? I should change who I am just for you?'
His voice raised slightly.
Daisuke was appalled, 'Why are you getting so upset? This isn't like
you at all.' Hiroshi didn't know what to say after that and just
sighed again. Daisuke was truly worried about him. There was
something wrong with Hiroshi, but he wasn't sure what.
'It's not you, man' Hiroshi said after a pause, 'It's' he glanced over
at Misami, who was still daydreaming about Daisuke, and scowled, 'I'll
never get girls like you' that's all I want and I'll never get it'
I'm just too butt-ugly and I'll be a virgin for the rest of my life'
'Don't feel sorry for yourself' it hurt to hear things like that, 'Just
be positive and uh' about that getting girls thing' maybe you should try
not to be such a pervert in the future. Girls don't really go for
that, you know.'
'Hmmm' Hiroshi thought and pulled out his Special Little Notebook, opening
to a random page with several notes scribbled all over it. He began
to write something. Daisuke looked at that with an annoyance like
none other.
'What did I just tell you?? Quit writing your perverted notes, let
me take that and burn it!' Daisuke pulled his Special Little Notebook
over to see what he had just finished writing' he gasped with a shock at
what he was seeing'it was totally not what had prepared himself for.
There in the center of the page was written largely in Hiroshi's sketchy
handwriting: 'Just be positive.' Daisuke was truly amazed and embarrassed
for all the same reasons. He didn't feel he was worthy to utter anything
as he met the dull eyes of Hiroshi.
'You have some really good advice, you know that? I'll try to be
positive' it's just that, when I see you swarmed around by so many beautiful
women it just hurts' it hurts because I don't have that' I was hoping this
new Yoshiko's little sister chick would be the one, but all she seems to
care about is you, just like all the others. She doesn't even notice
me.' He shrugged and Daisuke was looking at him in a brand new way.
'Anyway, I think it's better if I go home now. I mean, I have been
here nearly a day' besides,' he cracked his knuckles and got back to his
true Hiroshi nature, 'my beautiful laptop bishoujo are waiting for me.
I gotta make something out of this day off, after all.' He smiled.
Daisuke gave a small smile too, 'Normally I'd slap you for that comment,
but right now I don't feel like it. You just go have fun bro.'
His smile strengthened.
'Aww' Hiroshi was feeling completely back to normal now after that pep
talk, 'You're not gonna hug me or anything are you? Well, if you
have someone hug me, I'd prefer it to be Yoshiko or maybe her babelicious
little sister. Oh! Or maybe even both at the same time' yeah'
double the babe action.'
Daisuke twitched, 'You're pushing it'
Hiroshi went to get all his stuff and put on his shoes. The girls
stayed at the couch as Daisuke saw him off. 'I guess I'll call you
later,' said Hiroshi, tying his shoe.
'Yeah,' Daisuke agreed.
'Well,' he stood, 'au revoir.'
'Ciao,' Daisuke laughed and waved as Hiroshi left his house, shutting the
door behind him. He sighed and felt his thoughts intensely continuing
to linger on him. Hiroshi really was a good friend and Daisuke felt
lucky to have him, even if they didn't always see eye to eye. He
smiled again and walked back to the girls on the couch.
'Darling?' Misami queried with confusion at the previous occurrences.
'Is everything alright, Daisuke-san?' Yoshiko's sweet voice was filled
with concern.
He looked onto them with that same tender smile and nodded. 'I think
everything's just fine.' That was good for both of them to hear.
Seeing Daisuke smile made them feel great. After a couple of minutes,
he sat between the girls on the couch. He figured that maybe now
would be a good time to find out a little about this new girl'
'So,' he began again, turning to her direction. She met him with
starry eyes, 'I guess you're name is Nakayama Misami, right?'
She blinked. 'Actually, I'm just-' she was about to finish when she
caught a glance at her sister quickly shaking her head just beyond Daisuke.
'Oh, uh, yes, that's me!' She gave a peace sign.
'Well, it's nice to meet you, Misami. I'm glad we can have this proper
introduction' he still was thinking about the experience earlier that
day. 'You probably already know, but my name is Mizuno Daisuke.
It's nice to meet you.' He gave her a sweet smile that sent her into
a euphoric bliss as she nearly melted to a puddle on the couch. He
could tell she had become completely obsessed with him just by the way
she was looking at him' big, starry eyes' and a slight blush as she was
seated next to the man of her dreams. Oh man... he thought,
was
this really a good idea?
'I'd like to thank you, Daisuke-san, for letting us buy those items.'
Yoshiko said, directing attention back to her. He turned when she
said that and blushed a little bit.
'Yeah, no problem. It was my pleasure,' he flashed the most gorgeous
smile at her. Yoshiko' I would do anything for you'
'So,' Misami promptly patted (although it was more like pounded) Daisuke
on the back, causing him a momentary loss of breath 'now what is there
to do around here?'
'Misami, be polite.' Yoshiko condemned her behavior.
Daisuke just tried to smile, 'Oh, she's alright. Just real spunky,
I guess!'
'That's right, and never forget it!' She smiled, proud of herself
and the powerful impression she had already made on Daisuke and Yoshiko,
for that matter'
Misami then sighed and stretched out along the couch, cuddling closer to
Daisuke once again. 'Darling' her voice was quieter, 'when can we
go to bed?'
'B-b-bed??' his voice suddenly cracked out.
Misami sat up to get a better look at him. She observed his reaction
and laughed a little, 'Of course bed! My bed, silly'
'Oh' be blinked.
She then smiled keenly and came closer to him once again, 'What were you
thinking anyway?' She giggled.
He immediately shook his head and tried to overcome his blush, 'No!
You're wrong! I'm sorry' I guess I've been around Hiro too much lately,
that's all.'
'Oh, you mean your weirdo friend with the nerdy glasses?' Daisuke
nodded slightly, which caused Misami to gain a disturbed and sickened expression,
'He's such a dork! He tried to hit on me when he'd never seen me
before in his entire life! What is his problem anyway?'
Daisuke sighed, his blush was now gone, 'He's desperate for a girl'
'Well, if he ever tries that again I'm going to give him a piece of my
mind! I don't want stupid-looking desperate dorks drooling over me
all the time!'
'Please, Misami,' Yoshiko finally spoke. Her voice was calm and reassuring,
'Mr. Shiozawa isn't that bad. He is different, but he can be very
fun if you get to know him.'
'Yeah, she's right.' Daisuke agreed, 'So just try to give him another
chance, ok? I'll talk to him and tell him about what you said.
Who knows, maybe you two will end up as an item.' He laughed, but
Misami was not amused.
She instead growled and jerked her head the other way, 'That is a VERY
cruel thing to say!'
Yoshiko and Daisuke couldn't help it, the thought was just much too amusing.
This made Misami angrier by the minute and she soon secretly plotted the
death of both of them. 'Anyway,' Yoshiko began finally, 'Are we going
to find that futon bed today?' She asked Daisuke when she remembered
what he had said the previous day.
'Oh, yes! That's right, I almost forgot!' He stood, helping
her up too. Their faces were inches apart, just the perfect space
to be able to stare in each other's whimsical eyes. Daisuke attempted
to speak again uneasily, 'I uh, can go look for it right now, i-if you
want me to' Yoshiko kept looking into his deep eyes'they were like
two shiny white coals in the shade of his boyish, adorable face.
Unaware that she had done so, she nodded and again found herself embraced
by the warm light and hospitality that was Daisuke. Misami, on the
other hand, felt nauseated.
'Ah-hem!' She interceded. The two became conscious of what
they were doing and turned in opposite directions, blushing yet again.
'And just what exactly are you two talking about?' Jealousy rang
in her voice.
'Uh' Just going to find the futon for Yoshiko' Hey, wait a minute,' he
looked at Misami again, 'I suppose that, since Yoshiko has no place to
live, you're going to be staying here too, right?'
Misami looked sheepish, 'Well, if it's not too much trouble' she fumbled
with her fingers, but then peered up at Daisuke's face, 'You couldn't just
turn down a cute girl like me anyway, now could you?'
'Oh, of course not' he sighed. Then it was smashed' those rare,
precious moments he had shared with Yoshiko alone were gone, destroyed,
killed forever and ever thanks to this enthusiastic little red-head who
had decided to come into the men's room and invade his life. Well,
c'est la vie, he told himself, but couldn't help feeling some sort of a
hellish jinx hanging over his head at all times which caused all these
undesirable things to happen to him. 'C'est la vie' he repeated
in a mutter. 'Oh well, what the heck, you can stay, Misami.
It would be wrong to let your sister stay and not you.' It was a
forced laughter he let out.
'You're so sweet!!' And then again, she attached herself to him like
a ravaging leech, never to let him go free the same again. At least,
that's what he interpreted it as' Daisuke gave in and agreed to dig
out not just one, but two futons for the lovely sisters.
Daisuke's mother's old bedroom is where he laid them, after he vacuumed
the years of dust, that is. In the daylight, the room looked even
more beautiful. All the old antiques that were lying on the dresser
top and on small tables placed around the room didn't seem as old anymore.
The girls worked hard to clean the room, and they carefully dusted the
figurines so they looked new with shiny porcelain and bright paint.
Soon enough, it looked just as he remembered it when his mother was there,
ten years earlier' That realization dawned on him with sudden force
once the room was fully restored, and Daisuke felt the torment of years
of solitude pound down on him. His eyes became wet as he stared around
the room and remembered'
Yoshiko knew what he must have been thinking. She thought it right
now to interrupt him and took the task of smoothing out the blankets Daisuke
had brought in on the futons. 'It's been a long day' she said to
break the ice of his cruel memories.
It
worked too, 'Oh, yes it has. A very long day.'
She arose to her feet and stepped toward him. 'Thank you, again,'
she bowed humbly. He blinked and nodded his head. He just couldn't
shake those memories though' they were so profound, so vivid. Like
a dream that seemed so real, it was frightening. But, all too well
he knew that this was no dream.
'I think I'll go get the stuff,' said Misami as she walked out of the room,
returning a little later with some of the items they had gotten.
Eventually, everything they bought for the girls was in the room.
They wanted to sort through it all, as girls always like to do after purchasing
so many items. Daisuke found it as his signal to leave them for a
while to do some 'sisterly bonding' and such.
'Well, since it's a day off and all, I think I'll get caught up on some
homework. If you need anything, I'll be in my room.'
'Alright,' nodded Yoshiko.
'Don't work your brain too hard, darling!' Misami winked and giggled, digging
through the bags to find some of her new clothing.
Daisuke receded to his bedroom to study fun stuff like math and English!
Oh boy' His desk where he was studying on was right in front of his
bedroom window. When he looked out of it, he could see the dark street
and the thin blades of grass that shimmered in the afternoon sun on his
lawn. The sky was blue and glowing, white clouds speckled throughout
it in silky puffs. It was such a beautiful day. He sighed and
leaned his cheek against his hand. All Daisuke could do was look
at it all, look at it all and think. His life was, for once, becoming
what he wanted it to be, fun and happy although the terrible memories of
his past still leaked through. He would try to seclude them to the
back of his mind as best he could. As for now, he was feeling on
top of the world, after once again shutting the painful memories away.
Feeling very satisfied, Daisuke smiled a gleaming smile and turned back
to his math textbook. All the shapes and numbers seemed to jumble
together into a massive mess of blurs inside his imagination. They
formed the picture of Yoshiko in his head. 'Yoshiko,' he whispered,
going into a daydream. He closed his eye with a content sigh and
was submerged into a fantasyland so fantastic, it could only exist during
the highest moments of Daisuke's happiness. He didn't get much work
done that day'
Meanwhile, the girls were getting quite a bit of work done. They
set their futons in the middle of the floor right beside each other and
had already collected their own recently purchased items. Folding
them neatly, Yoshiko set hers in the chest of drawers. Misami didn't
fold hers quite as neatly and threw them inside the drawers. When they
were done, they stepped back to look at their new room in their new home.
'You know what, sis?' Misami asked suddenly, marveling at the thought
and the sight of her very own bedroom. Yoshiko looked to her in inquiry.
'I think I'm really going to like it here.' She had a big smile and
set her hand on her sister's shoulder. Yoshiko agreed one hundred
percent and knew that certainly she would too, even more than she did already.

A few blocks away, Hiroshi had just gotten back to his home. It was
a nice home, a sort of sky blue paint seemed to blend it into the clear
sky with darker disturbances that were the windows and blinds, currently
drawn to shut out the noonday sun. A red Honda sat in the gray driveway
which indicated that Hiroshi's mother was home. 'Tadaima!' he called
as he entered the home, throwing off his shoes. The front room was
empty and displayed an old gray couch set in front of an oak coffee table
with a walnut rocking chair and TV to the side, but just beyond, Hiroshi's
lovely mother emerged from the kitchen. She was a very lovely woman
of Irish descent with wavy golden colored hair that was set up on her head,
tied into a lose bun. She was wearing a soft pastel blue skirt, mostly
hidden behind a flour-covered apron and white blouse. Her smile was
sweet and her soft blue eyes comforting as she welcomed her son home.
'Welcome home! Did you have fun at Daisuke-kun's house?'
'Ooooooooooooh yeah!' he said in his low excitable voice.
'Well, I'm making lunch right now, if you want some, it should be ready
in about ten minutes!' She called back, disappearing into the kitchen again.
Hiroshi walked down the hall clad with younger pictures of his past and
the past of his family and soon came upon his room. He nearly stumbled
inside, there were many things blocking the door that just getting it ajar
seemed a miracle. It was dark, his forest green blinds were closed
and set his room in the same hue of green as a shady forest. It was
also by far the messiest room on the block. He had clothes, papers,
books, magazines, you name it, it was dwelling on Hiroshi's floor.
His desk, which was the home of his precious laptop, was covered in old
soda cans, schoolbooks and a lava lamp, which was not lava-ing at this
moment. Hiroshi flung the school uniform that was on his chair aside and
sat down, turning on his laptop computer. 'Alright baby, I've missed
you!' As it booted up, Hiroshi found himself in a sigh, looking to
the side. He then went and opened his blinds and stared out of the
window. He began to think about Yoshiko and Misami and smiled as
they danced in his thoughts. 'Just be positive,' he repeated, 'You girls
are amazing' Man, I want to get to know them better.' Hiroshi
looked up to see several sparrows flying in the sky. He leaned against
the thin windowsill and contemplated the events he had experienced the
last two days. 'I gotta feeling' from now on things are going to
be much different in Tokyo.'

Looking back on it all, Daisuke felt the exact same way. Things would
definitely be different now that Yoshiko and Misami were there. He
wondered what lay ahead of them all now that they had joined his life.
No matter what it was though, Daisuke couldn't help but look forward to
it, every single upcoming minute. He leaned back in his chair and
put his arms behind his head, smiling and staring off into the sky.
'They have so many secrets' he whispered to himself, indicating the mysterious
sisters. Continuing his thoughts, but I'm really glad they're here with
me. I still want to know about that vision I saw and that bright
blue light' Things have been so busy today, I wasn't able to ask about
it yet. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get an answer. Oh, and
future note to self: I'll remember to watch out for Misami! Daisuke
let out a small laughter that the girls suddenly came in to join with him.
Misami instantly grabbed hold of him and inched herself closely, winking
and smiling the whole time. Yoshiko laughed softly at the amusing
sight and they soon all joined in.
Yet another exciting day would end in Daisuke's house while trying to cope
with now TWO girls in his life. It would prove to be an exciting
and unique time in all of their lives as they would learn to live with
each other from what seemed to be some very different backgrounds.
There were still so many secrets to be uncovered, so many mysteries to
be unsheathed, but for right then, life seemed like a dream that they all
closely shared together.
To be continued...
